Notes[]
- Yngvi Ascendant will not neutralize the additional follow-up of Potent Follow effects.
- Follow-up effects that are neutralized by Yngvi Ascendant:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed follow-ups during combat, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- Yngvi Ascendant does not guarantee the user a follow-up.
- If the user can perform a follow-up, either by passing the Spd difference check or from guaranteed follow-up effects, the initial attack and follow-up will occur before the foe can perform a counterattack.
- Effects such as Vantage or Paranoia have priority over Yngvi Ascendant's priority changing effect.
- Yngvi Ascendant changes the priority, or order of attacks, and therefore can be neutralized by effects such as Hardy Bearing 3 or Caltrop Dagger+.
- The stat reduction that can be applied during combat by Yngvi Ascendant+ is considered a temporary debuff.
- 【Potent Follow 100%】 allows the user to perform an additional follow-up attack immediately after the standard follow-up attack (or in the place of the standard follow-up if the unit cannot perform one).
- Effects that prevent follow-up attacks such as Weaving Fighter or Foe Cannot Follow-Up will not prevent the additional follow-up attack granted by 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- "Unit attacks twice" effects such as Brave Sword+ or Triangle Attack will not double the additional follow-up attack granted by 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- A foe with effects such as Phys. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will not neutralize the additional follow-up attack granted by 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- The damage calculating effect of 【Potent Follow 100%】 is calculated based on the user's normal attack damage before being reduced by the foe's damage-reduction effects.
- Damage calculating effects stack additively, similar to flat damage-reduction effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- A foe equipped with Invincibility Seals will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- A foe equipped with Invincible Sister will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after it triggers.
- A foe equipped with Vengeful God will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after Miracle triggers if that foe's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
