We would like to introduce the new features and changes in the Ver. 5.1.0 update.

■ The Vault of Heaven has been added to Aether Raids

Tiers 29-38, collectively known as the Vault of Heaven, have been added.

○ What is the Vault of Heaven?

The Vault of Heaven is a battlefield where the strongest of the strong in Aether Raids compete in a fierce competition. If a player ends the season (beginning on ) having reached Tiers 27-28, they will begin the following season from Tier 31, the doorstep to the Vault of Heaven.

If a player battles in the Vault of Heaven and closes the season at its highest peak, Tier 38, they will begin the following season from Tier 31 and can continue to battle in the Vault of Heaven. However, if they close the season at Tier 37 or below, the player will begin the following season from Tier 23.

Ascending to the Vault of Heaven

Tier at end of season Tier at start of following season
21-26 21 (same as until now)
27-28 31

Battling in the Vault of Heaven

Tier at end of season Tier at start of following season
29-37 23
38 31

○ Rules of the Vault of Heaven

The basic rules are the same as typical Aether Raids; however, in the Vault of Heaven, for each successful raid in which all of your units survive, you will be granted a bonus of +10 to your Lift. After ascending to the Vault of Heaven, you can obtain even more Heroic Grails and Dragonflowers as rewards.

Train your Heroes to get stronger by battling powerful foes and aim for the heights of heaven!

・ We have addressed some minor issues.

■ Additional Heroes via Heroic Grails

The following Heroes are available to summon using Heroic Grails:

Hana: Focused Ninja
Galle: Azure Rider

■ Other Changes

○ Addressed an issue where, when a cavalry unit used Canto 3 to move while under the effect of Gravity, that unit would move as if it were on flat terrain when moving over trenches. From Ver. 5.1.0 on, cavalry units using movement granted by Canto 3 while under the effect of Gravity will only be able to move 1 space over trenches.

○ Addressed an issue wherein if the Double Tap to Wait option was set to Off in the Settings menu, players could not have units wait in the space they occupied while under the effect of the Canto skill. You will now be able to double tap to have a unit wait in their current space even if the Double Tap to Wait option is set to Off, only if the unit is under the effect of Canto.

○ If a player returns to the Home screen while Hall of Forms is active, a Home Notification dialogue will now appear. This notification can be set on or off in the Settings menu just like other events, such as Forging Bonds.

○ It will now be possible to see the Hero introductions that display on the loading screen via the Hero Check button on the summoning screen. Short introductions for Heroes that have them can be viewed from the icon next to the Hero's name when the Hero is selected with the Hero Check button on the Summoning screen.

○ Event banner displays have been improved.

When all of the rewards have been collected from events, such as Mjölnir's Strike's Brace phase or Forging Bonds, the banners will no longer be glowing. Also, during the period in which Forma Souls can be exchanged, the Hall of Forms event banner will display in a new color palette that will differentiate it from active and inactive events. It will be displayed between active and inactive events on the Events list.

That's all the news about the update!

We hope you continue to enjoy playing Fire Emblem Heroes.
