I simply wanted to repay my debt to Lord Sigurd and Lady Deirdre— to continue what they began. So, seeing you dressed in those clothes tells me you have found the same resolve in your heart.		Shannan

Seliph	For me, to be given the clothes my father wore carried a deep significance. If the people of Grannvale who knew my father when he was alive saw me wearing these clothes... They would know without question that I had taken up my father’s cause as a crusader.

Seliph	My father was loved by many, and they placed great faith in him. But I cannot claim that I have earned the right to inherit that from him. I worry I may live a life that somehow tarnishes his legacy. With those doubts haunting me, I kept myself from wearing this for a long time.

Seliph	Yes. That’s exactly right. Although I have not fully found my footing, I have felt in myself a stirring that was not always there. That stirring is the resolve to walk the path that follows my father.
