At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat and unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range.
Foes with Range = 1 cannot move through spaces adjacent to unit, and foes with Range = 2 cannot move through spaces within 2 spaces of unit (does not affect foes with Pass skills). If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack during combat by 30%, unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced (by any source, including other skills; resets at end of combat), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat.

Notes[ | ]

  • The stat increase that can be applied by refine Vouge is considered a temporary buff.
  • Vouge affects Status Effect Charge Charge, regular movement, and non-warping Canto effects; warping is unaffected.
    • A unit can warp to a space regardless of whether a path that is not blocked by Vouge exists between the unit and the destination.
    • A unit can warp to a space adjacent to a foe with Vouge active.
    • Vouge only prevents movement through affected spaces.
  • Vouge does not affect foes with a Pass effect or sources of unit movement.
    • If Skilliconassist Smite could move an ally 2 spaces away, it always does so regardless of whether a foe with Vouge is adjacent to the space in the middle.
    • A unit can attack a foe with Vouge and then leave the space with Hit and Run Hit and Run, Close Call 4 Close Call 4, or a Canto effect.
  • "If foe initiates combat" means if a foe triggers combat during the enemy phase. The unit being initiated upon does not need to deal damage, nor be able to counterattack.
    • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit being initiated upon must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
  • The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Vouge W Vouge's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Vouge W Vouge's healing effect will still trigger.
  • Vouge W Vouge's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
  • Vouge W Vouge's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4 Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
  • Vouge W Vouge's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 4 Fatal Smoke 4 or Icon Class Colorless Staff Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with Status Effect Deep Wounds Deep Wounds.
