Notes[]
- The stat boost that can be applied during combat by refine Vouge is considered a temporary buff.
- Vouge affects Charge, regular movement, and non-warping Canto effects; warping is unaffected.
- A unit can warp to a space regardless of whether a path that is not blocked by Vouge exists between the unit and the destination.
- A unit can warp to a space adjacent to a foe with Vouge active.
- Vouge only prevents movement through affected spaces.
- Vouge does not affect foes with a Pass effect, True Charge, or sources of unit movement.
- If Smite could move an ally 2 spaces away, it always does so regardless of whether a foe with Vouge is adjacent to the space in the middle.
- A unit can attack a foe with Vouge and then leave the space with Hit and Run, Harrowing Call, or a Canto effect.
- "If foe initiates combat" means if a foe triggers combat during the enemy phase. The unit being initiated upon does not need to deal damage, nor be able to counterattack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit being initiated upon must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- Umbra Burst weapons will always deal a minimum of 1 damage even if the foe is equipped with Invincible Sister, Vengeful God, Invincibility Seals, or damage reduction effects.
- "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced only during combat by effects such as Share Spoils+ or Halves non-Special damage reduction.

- Effects that neutralize or reduce non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects will also affect Vouge's damage boosting effect.
- The damage boosting effect of Vouge ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- Damage boosting effects stack additively, similar to flat damage-reduction effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- A foe equipped with Invincibility Seals will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- A foe equipped with Invincible Sister will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after it triggers.
- A foe equipped with Vengeful God will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after Miracle triggers if that foe's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat.

- The damage boosting effect of Vouge calculates the damage boost based on the total damage-reduction from all damage-reduction effects active on the unit including:
- Damage-reduction from ally skills such as Domain of Ice and Caduceus Staff.
- Damage-reduction from Divine Vein and terrain effects.
- Flat damage-reduction from effects such as Atk/Spd Excel and Shield Fighter.
- "Unit survives with 1 HP" effects such as Miracle and Everliving Domain.
- "Unit survives with 1 HP" effects will affect the calculation of the damage boosting effect = the total damage from the foe's damage (including calculations with specials) -1.
- For example, if a foe triggering Glimmer deals 45 damage, and a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain would be triggered by that foe's attack, the damage boost for the unit's next attack would be 44 damage.
- The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Vouge's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Vouge's healing effect will still trigger.
- Vouge's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
- Vouge's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
- Vouge's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 4 or Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with Deep Wounds.
