You summoned me with the best of intentions, and I’ve been nothing but a disappointment. It should be a crime for someone like me to pollute this beautiful kingdom with my presence. Maybe that sounds a little harsh, but it’s the truth. There’s no point in denying it. I’m nothing next to all of the amazing Heroes here. They’re all so strong and capable... Compared to them, I’m useless. Worse, a hindrance. Maybe you should just send me home... You probably think I’ve lost my nerve. You wouldn’t be wrong... Not that I had much nerve to begin with. What? You think I should...talk to other Heroes in a similar position? You think it will build my confidence? I’m sure you have connections with lots of wonderful people, but I would never dream of wasting their time! I’m sorry. Alcryst	Thanks for asking Prince Leo and Prince Takumi to speak with me a bit, `【Summoner】`. I still can’t believe they actually went out of their way for a stranger like me...but it was very kind of them. Prince Leo and I had a rough start, but he’s checked in on me a few more times since our first meeting. We didn’t have much to talk about at first, but his eyes lit up when I mentioned Brodia’s wild tomatoes. Prince Takumi came off as kind of intimidating, but I soon realized he’s actually very kind and considerate. He taught me some new shooting techniques and was incredibly patient about it. Sometimes his confidence wavered, but to be honest...that just made me relate to him even more. Not that I think we could ever be equals! He’s still far beyond my meager skills, obviously. But I’m actually on my way to the range now, so we can practice more together. After that, I promised to meet Prince Leo in the gardens to study the tomato crop. It’s all thanks to you, you know—that I finally have some Heroes I can call my friends, I mean. Not that they would say the same of me! I hope they don’t think I’d ever be so presumptuous... But even if they only think of me as a talking speck of dust that annoys them from time to time, I’m happy. I’m more relaxed than I was when I first got here, that’s for sure. Anyway, I wanted to say thank you. You didn’t have to look out for me, `【Summoner】`, but you did. Huh? You still think I need to work on coming out of my shell? But I’ve only just gotten used to... No, I do agree that I’ve made some progress, but... Truth is, I really like my shell. It’s comfortable, so... Hey, where are you going? Wait, are you going to look for more people?! You really don’t need to do that! Oh no... Here we go again...
