Notes

• The effect is triggered regardless if Umbra Blast's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Umbra Blast's effect will still trigger.
• Umbra Blast's user needs to survive the combat for the effect to trigger.
• Umbra Blast inflicts out of combat damage.
  • Out of combat damage cannot reduce a unit's HP to 0.
  • A foe equipped with  Embla's Ward,  Múspellflame,  Niðavellir Axiom, or  Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of out of combat damage except Røkkr area-of-effect Specials.
  • A foe equipped with  Røkkr or a unit affected by  En Garde will neutralize all sources of out of combat damage except area-of-effect Specials.
• Skills that alter the unit's Special cooldown count after combat, such as  Special Spiral 4,  Pulse Smoke 3, and Resonant Battles skills, are evaluated before Umbra Blast.
  • Umbra Blast can be cancelled if the unit is hit with  Melancholy+ during combat.
• Umbra Blast cannot be used to trigger skills like  Special Spiral 4,  Dark Mystletainn, or  Bride's Fang, as Umbra Blast does not trigger before or during combat.
• Umbra Blast triggers after skills such as  Repel 4,  Close Call 4, Movement Passives, and skills that deal out of combat damage.
• When Umbra Blast triggers, the unit and the target swap spaces regardless of their distance.
  • This is in contrast to  Lunge, which only swaps spaces for adjacent units, due to inheritance restrictions.
• Movement occurs only if both the unit and the target can enter the target spaces normally.
  • For example,  Drag Back cannot cause an  Infantry unit to occupy a mountain space.
