Description | Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, inflicts Atk/Def-6 on foe during combat and unit and foe both cannot make a follow-up attack, and also, if unit initiates combat while transformed, grants another action to unit after combat. (Once per turn.) At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2 and unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. |
Notes[ | ]
- The HP threshold applies to the combat reductions, follow-up prevention, and the additional action granted while the user is transformed.
- The HP threshold is checked at start of combat, and the effects either apply throughout the entire combat, or not at all.
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Twin-Crest Power is considered a temporary debuff.
- Twin-Crest Power can prevent the foe from making a standard follow-up attack.
- As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a standard follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference is used (including effects that alter this difference).
- Twin-Crest Power will not prevent a unit with a "unit attacks twice" effect from performing the 2 consecutive attacks, but the the unit will not be able to perform a standard follow-up attack.
- Twin-Crest Power will not prevent the additional follow-up attack of 【Potent Follow X%】.
- A foe with effects such as Mag. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the follow-up preventing effect of Twin-Crest Power.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the additional action.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The effect is triggered regardless if Twin-Crest Power's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Twin-Crest Power's effect will still trigger.
- Twin-Crest Power's user needs to survive the combat for the effect to trigger.
- Both Twin-Crest Power and skills such as Galeforce can activate on the same turn.[1]
- If both Twin-Crest Power and a skill such as Galeforce can activate after combat, Twin-Crest Power has higher priority. The user's Special cooldown count is unaffected if Twin-Crest Power activates.
- When equipped with skills such as Beast Agility 4 and Beast Follow-Up 3, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether the transformation conditions of the user's weapon are met.
- Skills such as Beast Agility 4 and Beast Follow-Up 3 will also keep the unit from reverting from their Beast form.
- The Atk+2 granted by Twin-Crest Power when the user transforms is a stat boost, not a bonus.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the stat boost and Distant Counter effects.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
