It changes from world to world. In Archanea and Jugdral, some dragons assist humanity and are even part of their religions. But there are fell dragons, and shadow dragons—feared for their hunger to destroy mankind.

Niime	Dragons create and dragons destroy. Their variability is in itself quite interesting. According to the legends of Fódlan, the dragons were guided by a goddess to create the world. But a dragon of Valla was so consumed by its rage that it threw that world into calamity. In Valentia, the dragons said to have created the land lived long and lost themselves to their base instincts.
Their power was great, but they were unable to hold on to themselves.		Fjorm
Niime	Dragons may possess power beyond our ken, but they are not omnipotent. Mentally, you could say they are frail. Not so different from us, are they, in that regard?
