Trivia[ | ]
- Troubadours first debuted in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, where they in addition to possessing staves for supporting allies had combat capabilities with swords. Furthermore, they could promote into Paladins.
- Starting with Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Troubadours were stripped of fighting capabilities outside promotion into Valkyries or Mage Knights (the latter in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones).
- In Japanese, the cavalier units are referred to as ナイト (knight), while armored units are referred to as アーマー (armor).
- In Japanese, Troubadours are called ロッドナイト ("rod knight").
- The Japanese etymology for Troubadours originated from Fire Emblem Fates.
