Notes[ | ]
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Talregan Axe is considered a temporary buff.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- Talregan Axe does not guarantee the user a follow-up.
- If the user can perform a follow-up, either by passing the Spd difference check or from guaranteed follow-up effects, the initial attack and follow-up will occur before the foe can perform a counterattack.
- Effects such as Vantage or Paranoia have priority over Talregan Axe's priority changing effect.
- Talregan Axe changes the priority, or order of attacks, and therefore can be neutralized by effects such as Hardy Bearing 3 or Caltrop Dagger+.

The distance of the movement is the remaining movement the unit had before the actions listed above + 1 (If unit used a movement skill that warps them, the remainder is 0). (Once per turn. Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) 【Null Follow-Up】 If unit's Spd > foe's Spd during combat, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks for 1 turn. |

Notes[ | ]
- The "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect.
- For example, if a unit is affected by both Guard and Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
- If the effect is active, the unit will gain 2 charges from both attacking and being attacked.
- If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge +X", only the higher of the two charge increases will apply.
- This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge +1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge +1" effect is active.
- Skills such as Spd/Def Tempo 4 and Spendy Scimitar will neutralize effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 has already been triggered that turn effects such as Forever Yours can re-enable it's usage.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 to 1 space for Range = 1 units and 0 spaces for Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (Rem. +1)】.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Gallop, Stall, and Gravity.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will have the remaining value be reduced to 1 if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity and did not move.
- The remaining value for 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will not be affected if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity after combat.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Talregan Axe is considered a Bonus.
- Talregan Axe applies the Mobility increased status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Mobility increased is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Mobility increased does not stack with Gallop, only the highest movement boosting value will be applied.
- Gravity and Stall will negate the effects of Mobility increased.
- Talregan Axe applies the Null Follow-Up status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Null Follow-Up is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Null Follow-Up will not neutralize the additional follow-up of 【Potent Follow X%】 or 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- Effects that are neutralized by Null Follow-Up:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed Follow-Ups, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
- The damage boosting effect of Talregan Axe ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
