Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1).

If a skill compares unit's Spd to a foe's or ally's Spd, treats unit's Spd as if granted +7.

At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6,【Dodge】, and "neutralizes penalties on unit during combat" to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn.

If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res based on the number of times unit has been enhanced using Dragonflowers (one or more times grants +14, zero times grants +10), grants Special cooldown count-2 to unit before foe's first attack, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 25% of unit's Spd during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced from foe's first attack (by any source, including other skills). Resets at end of combat.

If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, restores 7 HP to unit after combat.

  • Effects that select units based on stats, such as Chill Def Res 3 Chill Def/Res 3, directly select the unit with the appropriate stat(s); they do not compare the team's units pairwise to decide which unit has the highest or lowest stat(s).
    • Effects that check if a unit could make follow-up by decreasing the Spd difference, such as Potent 4 Potent 4, are not affected by 【Phantom】 Spd effects.
    • Effects that alter the Spd difference, such as Status Effect Frozen Frozen, are not affected by 【Phantom】 Spd effects.
    • Swirling Scimitar stacks with other 【Phantom】 Spd effects.
      • For example, if both Buffer 4 Buffer 4 and Phantom Spd 3 Phantom Spd 3's effects trigger the unit with both skills will have their Spd treated as if granted +17.
  • The stat increase that can be applied by Swirling Scimitar is considered a Status Effect Bonus Bonus.
    • Any 【Bonus】 on a unit, including Status Effect Bonus Bonuses, lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Status Effect Bonus Bonuses are acquired during the enemy phase, they will disappear when the next player phase begins.
  • Swirling Scimitar applies the Status Effect Dodge Dodge status effect.
  • Swirling Scimitar applies the Status Effect Neutralize Penalties Neutralize Penalties status effect.
    • Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Status Effect Neutralize Penalties Neutralize Penalties is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
  • The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Swirling Scimitar's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Swirling Scimitar's healing effect will still trigger.
  • Swirling Scimitar's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
  • Swirling Scimitar's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4 Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
  • Swirling Scimitar's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 4 Fatal Smoke 4 or Icon Class Colorless Staff Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with Status Effect Deep Wounds Deep Wounds.
