Stamina is spent to play a map. The cost of a map usually increases with its difficulty, starting at 1 stamina for the lowest stratums in the Training Tower.
1 stamina is regenerated every 5 minutes, alternatively a 
Stamina Potion can be used to instantly add 99 stamina to the current value. 99 stamina is the maximum amount that can be reached through natural generation, but stamina potions can exceed this.
