Grants Spd+3 and【Pathfinder】. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current penalty on each of those stats × 2. (Example: if unit has -7 penalty to Atk, grants Atk+19, for a net bonus of Atk+12.) Calculates each stat bonus independently. | Grants Spd+3 and【Pathfinder】. (Unit's space can be freely added to ally's normal movement. Applies only to allies with movement types that allow movement through unit's space.) |

Notes[ | ]
- 【Pathfinder】 takes into account the ally's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry ally cannot use 【Pathfinder】 cross through a forest.
- A unit with 【Pathfinder】 will allow allies to pass through terrain that slows their movement such as forests, trenches, or spaces affected by 【Divine Vein (Flame)】.
- 【Pathfinder】 only affects normal and non-warping Canto movement. Warp movement is unaffected.
- 【Pathfinder】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's movement such as Detailed Report, Obstruct 3, Pass 3, Guardian Seal, Captain's Sword, Fujin Yumi, Vouge, Bulwark Passives, Traverse Terrain, and non-warping Canto effects.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Skinfaxi is considered a temporary buff.
- The stat increasing effect of Skinfaxi will activate if the unit receives penalties.
- The stat increasing effect will not be negated nor reduced if the unit receives bonuses.
- If the unit is affected by Panic (and not affected by Null Panic), Skinfaxi will utilize the total penalty within each stat during calculation.[1]
- The unit will only receive temporary buffs from Neutralize Penalties or a source of penalty neutralization if the unit has a penalty neutralizing effect and the stat increasing effect of Skinfaxi active.
- The stat increasing effect will be negated if the unit has their penalties removed by a source of negative status effect neutralization.
Upgrades[ | ]
Can be upgraded in the Weapon Refinery. For a list of other such weapons, see list of upgradable weapons.
Notes[ | ]
- Refined Skinfaxi applies the Pathfinder status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Pathfinder is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.

- Pathfinder's free space effect will be negated if the unit is affected by Schism.
- If Schism is neutralized by sources of 【Penalty】 neutralization such as Odd Recovery 3, Pathfinder is also neutralized.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Pathfinder is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- The Pathfinder to support partner of Refined Skinfaxi will only activate if the unit has their Ally Support partner deployed on the map.
- A unit with Queensblade will prevent Ally Support effects from triggering during combat.
- Effects granted to Ally Support partners during combat will not apply if they are inflicted with Feud or are in combat against a foe with skills such as Impenetrable Void and C Feud 3.
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Skinfaxi is considered a temporary debuff.
- The stat decreasing effect of Skinfaxi will activate if the foe receives bonuses.
- The stat decreasing effect will not be negated nor reduced if the foe receives penalties.
- The stat decreasing effect will be negated if the foe is affected by Panic (and not affected by Null Panic), or the foe has their bonuses removed by a source of positive status effect neutralization.
- The damage boosting effect of Skinfaxi ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The damage-reduction is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- Percentage-based damage-reduction effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- For example, if both Buffer 4 and Godlike Reflexes activate, the maximum total damage-reduction is 70% instead of 90%, since the two skills reduce the damage to (1 − 50%) × (1 − 40%) = 30% of the original damage.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
