Description | Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against flying foes. At the start of turn 1, grants Special cooldown count-2. At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants the following to unit and infantry and armored allies within 2 spaces: "unit cannot be slowed by terrain (does not apply to impassable terrain)" and "unit can move 1 extra space (does not stack)" for 1 turn. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 to unit during combat and deals damage = 15% of unit's Atk (including when dealing damage with a Special triggered before combat), and also, when Special triggers, deals damage = X% of unit's Spd (X = unit's max Special cooldown count value × 10, + 10). |

- When battling a Flying unit, damage is boosted by 50%.
- Sources of Flying effectiveness neutralization:
- Sandglass Bow's cooldown count changing effect will not trigger if the unit is inflicted with False Start, unless False Start is neutralized by a skill such as Dream Deliverer.
- Cooldown count changes from skills that activate at the same time as Sandglass Bow (at start of turn) are not considered in Sandglass Bow's conditions.[1] Skills such as Infantry Pulse 4, Buffer 4, and Odd Pulse Tie 3 will have their effects stack.
- Sandglass Bow applies the Traverse Terrain status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Traverse Terrain is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Traverse Terrain only neutralizes the mobility reduction of terrain that slows units; forests, trenches, and spaces affected by 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 or 【Divine Vein (Water)】.
- Forests only slow Infantry units. Cavalry units cannot occupy or pass through forests.
- Trenches only slow Cavalry units. Infantry units are not slowed by trenches.
- Spaces affected by 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 or 【Divine Vein (Water)】 can slow ranged units of all move types.
- Sandglass Bow applies the Mobility increased status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Mobility increased is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Mobility increased does not stack with Gallop, only the highest movement boosting value will be applied.
- Gravity and Stall will negate the effects of Mobility increased.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Sandglass Bow is considered a temporary buff.
- The damage boosting effect of Sandglass Bow is not affected by the weapon-triangle, and includes the increased Atk from skills like Blárblade+ in its calculations.
- The damage boosting effect of Sandglass Bow ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
