Description | Grants Def+3. If a movement Assist skill (like Reposition, Shove, Pivot, etc.) is used by unit or targets unit, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-4 on foes within 2 spaces of unit and target through their next actions after movement. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2 and deals +10 damage when Special triggers. |

- The stat decrease that can be applied by Sabertooth Fang is considered a penalty.
- Any 【Penalty】 on a unit, including penalties, lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the penalty for their first action.
- If the unit also has Grand Strategy, any penalties will remain active until the start of that unit's next phase.

- When equipped with skills such as Beast Sense 4 and Beast Agility 4, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether the transformation conditions of the user's weapon are met.

- The Atk+2 granted by Sabertooth Fang when the user transforms is a stat boost, not a bonus.
- The damage boosting effect from activating a Special is a fixed +10 that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- The added damage will also affect area-of-effect Specials such as Rising Flame and Growing Thunder.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.

- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the stat boost and Special damage boost effects.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
