Description	Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk+6 to unit and inflicts Atk-6 on foe during combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack during combat by 40%, and also, if there are X or more foes within 3 columns or 3 rows centered on unit, unit attacks twice. (X = 1 when there are ≤ 2 foes on the enemy team, X = 2 when there are 3-5 foes, and X = 3 when there are ≥ 6 foes.)

Notes

• The stat increase that can be applied by Regal Sunshade is considered a temporary buff.
• The stat decrease that can be applied by Regal Sunshade is considered a combat reduction.
• The damage-reduction is calculated after offensive Specials and skills that deal extra damage, such as  Wo Dao+.
  • Percentage-based damage-reduction effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as gem weapons and  Triangle Adept.
    • For example, if both  Spurn 3 and  Vital Astra activate, the maximum total damage-reduction is 58% instead of 70%, since the two skills reduce the damage to (1 − 40%) × (1 − 30%) = 42% of the original damage.

•  Deadeye,  Lethality,  Lunar Flash II,  Sublime Heaven, and  Twin Blades will neutralize Regal Sunshade's damage-reduction effect.
• When used with offensive Specials,  Bow of Frelia,  Lioness Blade,  Thunderer Tome, and  Lands Sword will neutralize Regal Sunshade's damage-reduction effect.
•  Adroit War Tome and  Þjálfi can reduce the damage-reduction of Regal Sunshade by 50%.

Example of Area of Effect

• Regal Sunshade's extra attack is not a follow-up attack nor a change in attack priority.
  • Effects such as  Foe Cannot Follow-Up and  Hardy Bearing 3 do not affect the extra attack.
  • If Regal Sunshade's user can perform a follow-up attack, either from a speed check or effects such as  Guaranteed Follow-Ups or  Quick Riposte 3, the user will be able to attack up to 4 times during combat.
    • A foe with skills such as  Null Follow-Up 3 or the  Null Follow-Up status effect will neutralize any effect on Regal Sunshade's user that guarantees follow-up attacks .
