Poetic Justice allows the unit to deal staff damage like other weapons instead of halving damage after defenses are calculated, rounded down.
- A foe with Mystic Boost 4, Splashy Bucket, or Splashy Bucket+ will disable this effect.

The stat decrease that can be applied by Poetic Justice is considered a temporary debuff.

The damage boosting effect of Poetic Justice ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
