Ploy[1] is a status effect that neutralizes the Temporary buffs from Bonus Doubler and Grand Strategy, and the damage boosting effect of Treachery on the unit during combat. For sources of this status effect, see the category page Sources of Ploy.

- Ploy neutralizes the temporary buffs granted by Bonus Doubler and Grand Strategy, and the damage boosting effect of Treachery only during combat.
- Temporary buffs granted by Bonus Doubler and Grand Strategy are neutralized by inflicting temporary debuffs of the same amount during combat.
- Since units inflicted with Ploy will still have these status effects, skills that require a 【Bonus】 to trigger such as Atk/Spd Prime 4 or Gainful Bow+ will still trigger.
- If the affected unit does not have these status effects, Ploy has no effect, but can still be used to trigger skills that require a 【Penalty】 such as Atk/Spd Catch 4 and Lucrative Bow+.
