This page is about the status effect. For the weapon, see Panic.

Panic[1] is a status effect which causes existing and newly applied Status Effect Bonus bonuses to be treated as Status Effect Penalty penalties. It is important to note that Panic does not remove bonuses, it makes their current positive values negative. This means that it is possible to have two penalties at once, one from a negative bonus and one from a penalty. Temporary buffs and Status Effect Penalty penalties are not affected by Panic. Retained interaction with other skills while Bonuses are affected by Status Effect Panic Panic:

  • Bonuses which affect the same stat will not stack with each other (eg. Atk Tactic and Hone Atk). Only the bonus with the biggest change will apply, granting a larger Penalty.
  • Bonuses affecting different stats (eg. Hone Atk and Hone Spd) will stack.
  • Bonuses will stack with penalties & temporary buffs. They will both apply at the same time.
  • If bonuses and penalties exist in the same stat, skills such as Icon Class Green Tome Blizzard will utilize the greater penalty within that stat during the calculation.
  • Bonuses are not affected by skills that target penalties, such as Skilliconassist Harsh Command.
When a unit has this status effect, an icon is shown on their sprite on the map.
