- Opening Retainer has the same effect as
Joint Drive Atk. - Warping counts as the unit's move for the turn. The unit can still perform an attack, an Assist, or a structure destruction after warping.
- Warping is unaffected by movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Stall, Gravity, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- Warping can be obstructed by warp preventing effects unless the warping unit has a Pass effect, or warps using a camp, a fortress, or sigils.

- Open Retainer+'s healing effect will not work if the user is prevented from recovering HP during combat by HP recovery preventing effects, unless the user has an effect that neutralizes or reduces the effect of 【Deep Wounds】 during combat such as Divine Nectar or Imbue.
- Open Retainer+ can neutralize Bonuses during combat.
- Bonuses are neutralized by inflicting temporary debuffs of the same amount during combat.
- The Bonus neutralizing effect will be negated if the affected unit has Panic (and doesn't have Null Panic), or has their Bonuses removed by a source of Bonus effect neutralization.
- The temporary buffs, bonus neutralization and HP recovery effects of Open Retainer+ will not apply to the user's allies if the user is inflicted with Time's Grip, the user's allies are inflicted with Feud, or the user's allies are in combat against a foe with skills such as Impenetrable Void and C Feud 3.

- For example, if a unit has Halves non-Special damage reduction and a foe with Dodge is on a space with 【Divine Vein (Water)】, the maximum total damage-reduction is reduced to 10%, since the two effects reduce the damage to (1 − ((40% − 50%) − 50%)) = 90% of the original damage instead of 60% of the original damage.
