- The calculation of "spaces from start position to end position" counts the total number of spaces from the initiator's starting position to the end position before combat.
- The calculation includes spaces occupied by an ally with the 【Pathfinder】 effect.
- The start position used in the calculation references the initiator's starting position after being moved by sources of unit movement such as Reposition.
- As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference decides instead (including effects that alter the Spd difference such as Frozen).
- A foe with effects such as Phys. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the guaranteed follow-up attack granted by Momentum.
- The damage boosting effect is a flat +X (max: 20) damage that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.

- The stat decrease that can be applied by Momentum 4 is considered a temporary debuff.
- Momentum 4's Special cooldown count increase that occurs during combat is a flat +1 and is not affected by effects related to Special cooldown charge such as Guard, Special Cooldown Charge +1, and Spd/Def Tempo 4.
- All flat cooldown count increases and/or reductions during combat will stack with each other if they trigger at the same time.
- For example, if a unit with Special trigger acceleration has Rally Spectrum and Hush Spectrum, the effects will stack and the unit's cooldown count will not increase or decrease.
