Notes[ | ]
- 【Canto (3)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (3)】 has already been triggered that turn effects such as Forever Yours can re-enable it's usage.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (3)】 to 1 space for Range = 1 units and 0 spaces for Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (3)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (3)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (3)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (3)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (3)】.
- The movement granted by 【Canto (3)】 is unaffected by status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Gallop, Stall, and Gravity.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Lyngheiðr is considered a temporary buff.
- The damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced by effects such as Share Spoils or Halves non-Special damage reduction.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.

+3 HP | Grants Spd+3. Enables【Canto (3)】during turns 1 through 4. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 and Def/Res+4 to unit, neutralizes unit's penalties to Atk/Spd, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area-of-effect Specials) during combat. |

Notes[ | ]
- Refined Lyngheiðr can neutralize Penalties.
- Penalties are neutralized by granting temporary buffs of the same amount during combat.
- Temporary buffs from Refined Lyngheiðr do not stack with temporary buffs from effects such as Grand Strategy and Atk/Spd Unity, only temporary buffs from Refined Lyngheiðr will apply.
- Lyngheiðr will not neutralize the additional follow-up of 【Potent Follow X%】 or 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- Effects that are neutralized by Lyngheiðr:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed Follow-Ups, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
- The damage boosting effect of Lyngheiðr ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
