“Send Heroes to scout out other worlds and recover their lore!” |

Lost Lore is a passive game mode introduced in Version 3.8.0. It was first presented in Feh Channel (Aug. 1, 2019).
In this mode, heroes can be sent on timed scout missions to certain Fire Emblem worlds to gather story information from those worlds' related games. These missions occur passively and without additional player input once they are started.

Basics[]
Scouts[]
Send Heroes on other worlds to find lines.
Up to three teams can scout at the same time at different locations. Each team can contain one or two heroes, but the same hero can't be on two different teams. If two heroes on the same team have a Ally Support, their bond will increase each four hours. That means two heroes with a new bond will see their ally support rank passed from C to B after 24 hours.
Scouting teams will recover lines proportionally to the time of the scout, no matter the number of heroes and their stats. Even when the application is closed, teams continued their scouts:
- A 12 hours scout yields 12 lines.
- A 20 hours scout stopped after 15 hours yields 15 lines.
- A 2:30 hours scout yields 2.5 lines (only rounded numbers are displayed, but decimals are saved).
Moreover, if at least one hero of the team is from the world of the scout, lines earned are increased by 20%. By example, if Marth: Altean Prince is doing a 12 hour scout on the World of Mystery, he will bring back 14,4 lines.
Strikes[]
Strikes are passive turn-based battles that appear as a world's final act. Each strike lasts for 20 hours, with a battle report every 6:40 hours. At the beginning of a battle, the enemies are randomly ordered, and keep their position until they are all defeated.
Strikes' battles works like those from the main series. Each Hero fights against the opponent present in front of itself. After its attack, the opponent counterattack. Then a follow-up is perform by one of the side, if possible. After every duels are performed, any Hero which didn't have an opponent will perform a single attack to the closest opponent. Moreover, the attacking side has the possibility to perform a critical hit, tripling the damage dealt, while the defending side can dodge the attack, therefore receiving no damage. The damage calculation is still the same, with weapon-triangle and effectiveness related to move type and weapon type. However, Staff users damages are calculated like any other weapons. It should be noted than a Hero will attack even without any weapon, target the enemy's Def or Res depending of the Hero's weapon type.
Heroes send to battles are adjusted to be 5 Lv. 40, with a bonus of HP+10 and Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 for Heroes with a boost. Additionnaly, any dragonflowers, merges and Summoner Support are ignored, which implies that flaw removed with the first merge are reapplied. However, Ally Support are always active when both units are deployed, independently of their positions during battle. Skills equipped on units have no effect during strikes, except those granting additional stats, such as
Fury 3 and
Life and Death 4 as well as weapon's might and additional stats, and those related to effectiveness, such as
Iote's Shield and
Poison Dagger+. Any other effects are ignored, such as the self-damaged from
Fury 3, the double attack of Brave weapons, the modification of the weapon-triangle of
Ruby Sword+ and
Gronnraven+, the additional Atk+2 for
Transformed Beast and the damage calculation of
Breath weapons.
