Notes[]
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- Both Lone Wolf and other effects that grant another action to the user can trigger on the same turn.[1]
- The unit's Special cooldown count is unaffected if Lone Wolf triggers.
- The priority of effects that grant another action to the user is as follows:
- Share Spoils or Share Spoils+
- Effects with priority such as Time and Light
- Non-Special effects without priority such as True Lone Wolf or Override
- Special effects without priority such as Galeforce or Njörun's Zeal II
- Effects that trigger after Canto such as Eagle's Heart or The Cycle's Turn
- Lone Wolf applies the Isolation status effect.
- Any 【Penalty】 effect on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have Isolation for their first action.
- Isolation can prevent the affected unit from using or being targeted by Assists. Therefore Isolation can only be removed by non-Assist sources of 【Penalty】 effect neutralization such as Paranoia or Odd Recovery 3.
- Effects that select units based on stats, such as Chill Def/Res 3, directly select the unit with the appropriate stat(s); they do not compare the team's units pairwise to decide which unit has the highest or lowest stat(s).
- Effects that check if a unit could make follow-up by decreasing the Spd difference, such as Potent Follow, are not affected by 【Phantom】 Spd effects.
- Effects that alter the Spd difference, such as Frozen, are not affected by 【Phantom】 Spd effects.
- Lone Wolf stacks with other 【Phantom】 Spd effects.
- For example, if both Null C-Avoid and Phantom Spd 3's effects trigger the unit with both skills will have their Spd treated as if granted +17.
- The stat reduction that can be applied during combat by Lone Wolf is considered a temporary debuff.
- The damage boosting effect of Lone Wolf ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- Damage boosting effects stack additively, similar to flat damage-reduction effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, Gold Perfection, or Nine-Realm Pact will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- A foe equipped with Vengeful God will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after Miracle triggers if that foe's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The flat damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials, damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance, and "reduces damage by X%" effects such as Gust and Dodge.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- Flat damage-reduction effects stack additively, similar to damage boosting effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Flat damage-reduction effects cannot be neutralized or reduced only during combat by effects such as Share Spoils+ or Halves non-Special damage reduction.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The Area-of-effect Special damage-reduction effect is calculated after AoE Specials, damage boosting effects such as Treachery and Dominance, and "reduces damage by X%" effects that reduce damage from Area-of-effect Specials such as Spurn 4 and Dodge.
- Flat damage-reduction effects stack additively, similar to damage boosting effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Flat damage-reduction effects that reduce damage from Area-of-effect Specials cannot be neutralized or reduced only out of combat.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
