Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Enables【Canto (2)】. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit during combat. For target ally within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, if Savior is not triggered, that ally attacks twice during their combat. If target ally is within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, unit attacks twice during combat. (If support partner is on player team, targets any support partner; otherwise, targets ally with the highest max HP on player team, excluding unit.) If unit initiates combat or if an ally is within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit × 3, + 5 (max 14), deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's first attack by 20% of unit's Spd, ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat, and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. |

- If an effect that grants "another action" to unit would trigger, (such as with
Galeforce) the extra action will be granted before 【Canto (2)】 triggers (excluding effects that grants "another action" after Canto).
- 【Canto (2)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (2)】 has already been triggered that turn effects such as
Forever Yours or
Lion's Heart can re-enable it's usage.
Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (2)】 to 1 space for
Range = 1 units and 0 spaces for
Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (2)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a
Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (2)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects,
Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account warping effects such as
Guidance 4 and
Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (2)】.
- The movement granted by 【Canto (2)】 is unaffected by status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as
Mobility increased,
Gallop,
Stall, and
Gravity.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects,
- The stat increase that can be applied by Laconic Axe is considered a temporary buff.
- Laconic Axe's extra attack is not a follow-up attack nor a change in attack priority.
- Effects such as
Foe Cannot Follow-Up and
Hardy Bearing 3 do not affect the extra attack.
- If Laconic Axe's user can perform a standard follow-up attack, either by passing the Spd difference check or effects such as
Guaranteed Follow-Ups or
Quick Riposte 4, the user will be able to attack up to 4 times during combat.
- Laconic Axe's extra attack does not affect the additional follow-up granted by Potent Follow effects.
- A foe with effects such as
Phys. Null Follow or
Null Follow-Up will neutralize any effect on Laconic Axe's user that guarantees follow-up attacks.
- Effects such as
- The attack twice effect will not apply if the ally's 【Savior】 was triggered before combat.
- The effect of Laconic Axe will only activate if the unit has their Ally Support partner deployed on the map.
- Skills such as
Queensblade or
Breezy Spear will prevent Ally Support effects from triggering during combat.
- Skills such as
- The temporary buffs and attack twice effects of Laconic Axe will not apply to the user's allies if the user is inflicted with
Time's Grip, the user's allies are inflicted with
Feud, or the user's allies are in combat against a foe with skills such as
Impenetrable Void and
C Feud 3.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The damage boosting effect of Laconic Axe ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as
Gust,
Atk/Spd Excel, and
Dodge.
- A foe equipped with
Embla's Ward,
Múspellflame,
Niðavellir Axiom,
Gold Perfection, or
Nine-Realm Pact will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.

- A foe equipped with
- The damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as
Arcane Lúin and
Dominance.
- If a skill such as
Miracle or
Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as
Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Special "reduces damage by X%" effects cannot be neutralized or reduced by effects such as
Share Spoils or
Halves non-Special damage reduction.

- If a skill such as
- Laconic Axe will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect on unit from effects such as
Guard Sword+,
Guard, or 【Divine Vein (Green)】.
- Since the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will be neutralized on unit, Laconic Axe will also stack with the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit from effects such as
Heavy Blade 4,
Special Cooldown Charge +1, or the Grand Conquests
Infantry area effect, unless the foe is equipped with skills that neutralize the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit.
- Since the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will be neutralized on unit, Laconic Axe will also stack with the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit from effects such as
- The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Laconic Axe's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Laconic Axe's healing effect will still trigger.
- Laconic Axe's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
- Laconic Axe's healing effect stacks with skills such as
Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
- Laconic Axe's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as
Fatal Smoke 4 or
Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with
Deep Wounds.
