Description [Collapse] |
Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack), and neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat, and also, if it is unit's first combat initiated by unit or first combat initiated by foe that turn, reduces damage from foe's first attacks by 70% during combat ("follow-up attack" normally means only the second strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the third and fourth strikes). If unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat, after combat, if unit attacked, inflicts【Panic】on target and foes within 2 spaces of target. | Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Notes[ | ]
- The stat increase that can be applied by Kvasir is considered a temporary buff.
- The "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect.
- For example, if a unit is affected by both Guard and Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
- If the effect is active, the unit will gain 2 charges from both attacking and being attacked.
- If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge +X", only the higher of the two charge increases will apply.
- This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge +1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge +1" effect is active.
- Skills such as Spd/Def Tempo 4 and Spendy Scimitar will neutralize effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe.
- Kvasir will not neutralize the additional follow-up of 【Potent Follow X%】 or 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- Effects that are neutralized by Kvasir:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed Follow-Ups, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
- The effect of Kvasir only activates during the first combat that the user enters during either phase of that turn.
- If the user or a foe has any skills that neutralize or stack with Kvasir's effect, those effects will only stack or be neutralized during the first combat that the user enters during either phase of that turn.
- The damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced by effects such as Share Spoils or Halves non-Special damage reduction.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
If unit attacked
means if the user attacked at any time during combat. They do not need to initiate combat, deal damage, or survive.- This means that if the foe initiates combat and the user cannot counterattack, the effect will not trigger.
- Kvasir applies the Panic status effect.
- Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have Panic for their first action.
- Panic does not convert Bonuses into Penalties, it changes the value of existing Bonuses from positive to negative.
- If the affected unit does not have Bonuses or the affected unit has Null Panic, Panic has no effect, but can still be used to trigger skills that require a 【Penalty】 such as Atk/Spd Catch 4 and Gainful Bow+.
