Linhardt	In the library, I found one heroic tale that seemed to be about Nemesis and the 10 Elites of Fódlan. We learned about Nemesis and the 10 Elites in class, but this tale mentions an eleventh Hero.

Linhardt	In the other texts I read about this Erased Hero, the term “beast” appeared frequently. According to those tales, the Hero transformed into a beast and massacred people. They also say that those who bear the same Crest as the Hero still turn into a beast each night to kill people.

Both these forms and our beast forms are equally our true selves.		Panne
Linhardt	In Fódlan, humans can transform into beasts using the power of Crests...or, rather, Crest Stones. But they can’t turn back into their human forms. The transformation only breaks when they die.
That sounds more like a curse than a transformation, if you ask me. There were people like that in my world, too, who couldn’t return to their human forms...		Ranulf

Linhardt	Ranulf and Panne aren’t the only ones. There are similar beings in places like Hoshido and Nohr. Throughout all these different worlds, there are people who can transform into beasts... It’s fascinating.

But then something happened that helped me accept myself. I realized I had friends...and that I wanted to live. Still... That doesn’t mean the power of my Crest is gone.
