Description | Grants Def+3. Enables【Canto (3)】during turns 1 through 4. If unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack), and after combat, if unit attacked, inflicts【Guard】on target and foes within 2 spaces of target. 【Canto (3)】 After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move 3 space(s). (Unit moves according to movement type. Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. Only highest value applied. Does not stack. - 【Canto (3)】 will not trigger after an extra action granted by Sing/Dance users or Duo/ Harmonized skills if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If the unit uses a ranged weapon type and is inflicted with Canto Control, 【Canto (3)】 will trigger, but the unit's action will end without being able to move.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (3)】 to 1 space if the affected unit uses a close weapon type.
- 【Canto (3)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (3)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (3)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as Pass 3, Obstruct 3, Traverse Terrain, 【Divine Vein (Flame)】, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (3)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (3)】.
- The movement granted by 【Canto (3)】 is unaffected by status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Stall, Gravity, and Mobility increased.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Hreiðmarr is considered a temporary buff.
- Hreiðmarr applies the Guard status effect.
- Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the status effect for their first action.
- The "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect.
- For example, if a unit is affected by both Guard and Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
- If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge -X", only the higher of the two charge reductions will apply.
- This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge -1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge -1" effect is active.
- Skills such as Spd/Def Tempo 4 and Whirling Grace will neutralize effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on its user.
