Description	Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If a Rally Assist skill is used by unit, grants "Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)" to unit for 1 turn and restores 7 HP to unit, and afterward, once per turn, grants unit another action. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and also, if "Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)" is active on unit, neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat and unit attacks twice.

Notes

• Flingster Spear applies the  Special Cooldown Charge +1 status effect.
  • Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If  Special Cooldown Charge +1 is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.

• The "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect.
  • For example, if a unit is affected by both  Guard and  Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
  • If the effect is active, the unit will gain 2 charges from both attacking and being attacked.
• If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge +X", only the higher of the two charge increases will apply.
  • This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge +1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge +1" effect is active.
• Skills such as  Spd/Def Tempo 4 and  Spendy Scimitar will neutralize effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe.

• "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
  • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
• Both Flingster Spear and other effects that grant another action to the user can trigger on the same turn.
  • The unit's Special cooldown count is unaffected if Flingster Spear triggers.
  • The priority of effects that grant another action to the user is as follows:

1.  Share Spoils
2. Effects with priority such as  Time Is Light
3. Non-Special effects without priority such as  Lone Wolf or  Override
4. Special effects without priority such as  Galeforce or  Njörun's Zeal II

• The stat increase that can be applied by Flingster Spear is considered a temporary buff.

• Effects that are neutralized by Flingster Spear:
  • Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as  Windsweep 3,  Watersweep 3, or  Weaving Fighter.
  • Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as  Steady Impact,  Vengeful Fighter 4, or  Foe Cannot Follow-Up.

• The damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as  Arcane Lúin and  Dominance.
  • If a skill such as  Miracle or  Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
  • "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as  Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
    • For example, if both  Dodge and  Gust trigger, the maximum total damage-reduction is 64% instead of 80%, since the two skills reduce the damage to (1 − 40%) × (1 − 40%) = 36% of the original damage.
  • Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced by effects such as  Share Spoils or  Halves non-Special damage reduction.

• Flingster Spear will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect on unit from effects such as  Guard Sword+,  Guard, or 【Divine Vein (Green)】.
  • Since the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will be neutralized on unit, Flingster Spear will also stack with the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit from effects such as  Heavy Blade 4,  Special Cooldown Charge +1, or the Grand Conquests  Infantry area effect, unless the foe is equipped with skills that neutralize the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit.
• Flingster Spear's extra attack is not a follow-up attack nor a change in attack priority.
  • Effects such as  Foe Cannot Follow-Up and  Hardy Bearing 3 do not affect the extra attack.
  • If Flingster Spear's user can perform a standard follow-up attack, either by passing the Spd difference check or effects such as  Guaranteed Follow-Ups or  Quick Riposte 4, the user will be able to attack up to 4 times during combat.
    • Flingster Spear's extra attack does not affect the additional follow-up granted by 【Potent Follow X%】 or 【Potent Follow 100%】.
    • A foe with effects such as  Phys. Null Follow or  Null Follow-Up will neutralize any effect on Flingster Spear's user that guarantees follow-up attacks.
