Description	In a land blessed by the goddess, two races dwell. After many years of turmoil, with peace and war recurring in turn, the realm is split into seven nations. Ike, a novice fighter in a band of mercenaries based in one of them, spends his days training to take on his first job. It's a peaceful age, with no more than a skirmish fought. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is the ninth game in the Fire Emblem series. It is currently listed ninth in the Catalog of Heroes and when sorting heroes by Origin, between The Sacred Stones and Radiant Dawn. Some of its characters also appeared in its sequel, Radiant Dawn.

The world of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn is referred to as "World of Radiance".
