Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem is the twelfth game in the Fire Emblem series. It is currently listed second in the Catalog of Heroes and when sorting heroes by Origin, between 
Heroes and 
Echoes, mixed in with Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. Many of its characters first appeared in its original version, Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. Despite appearing in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, Luke and Roderick are listed under Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem since they only received characterizations in this game.
The world of 
Shadow Dragon / (New) Mystery is referred to as the "World of Mystery" in Story Maps and Lost Lore. The 
Dining Hall uses "Archanea-Style" as its respective Home-Style for dish names.
