| Description | Grants Def+3. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Def+6 to unit during combat, inflicts penalty on foe's Atk/Def during combat = 20% of unit's Def at start of combat, and foe cannot make a follow-up attack. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, deals +7 damage when Special triggers, and neutralizes effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to foe or inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit. |

- The stat boost that can be applied during combat by Fiery Fang is considered a temporary buff.
- The stat reduction that can be applied during combat by Fiery Fang is considered a temporary debuff.
- A stat comparison made "At start of combat" ignores temporary buffs and temporary debuffs.
- Temporary buffs and temporary debuffs from skills such as Death Blow and Rauðrfox+ will not affect the outcome.
- Only stat boosts outside of combat, such as Bonuses and Penalties, will affect the outcome.
- Fiery Fang can prevent the foe from making a standard follow-up attack.
- As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a standard follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference is used (including effects that alter the Spd difference such as Frozen).
- Fiery Fang will not prevent a unit with a "unit attacks twice" effect from performing the 2 consecutive attacks, but the the unit will not be able to perform a standard follow-up attack.
- Fiery Fang will not prevent the additional follow-up attack of Potent Follow effects.
- Effects such as Mag. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the follow-up preventing effect of Fiery Fang.
- When equipped with skills such as Beast or Beast Passives, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether any transformation conditions are met such as from user's weapon or effects that add transformation conditions.
- Skills such as Beast or Beast Passives will also keep the unit from reverting from their Beast form.
- The Atk+2 granted by Fiery Fang when the user transforms is considered a stat boost, not a 【Bonus】 effect.
- The Special damage boosting effect is a flat +7 damage that can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- Damage boosting effects stack additively, similar to flat damage-reduction effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- A foe equipped with Invincibility Seals will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- A foe equipped with Invincible Sister will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after it triggers.
- A foe equipped with Vengeful God will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except for the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons only once per Phase after Miracle triggers if that foe's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat.
