Feh Channel Supplement: What Are Rearmed Heroes?

This notification contains information about Rearmed Heroes, which were introduced in a recent Feh Channel (Sept. 14, 2022).

Rearmed Heroes are Heroes who can perform arcane inheritance, passing one of their skills on to another Hero while remaining in your army with the rest of their skills intact. But each Rearmed Hero you summon can only perform arcane inheritance once.

Rearmed Heroes have a special weapon skill called an News icon arcane weaponarcane weapon, and arcane weapons can be inherited by other Heroes using arcane inheritance.

The first Rearmed Hero, Líf: Arcane Blade, will appear in the New Heroes & Rearmed Líf Celebratory Summoning Event starting

The following is a detailed explanation of the Hero type and an overview of what to keep in mind with Rearmed Heroes, which were introduced in Feh Channel (September 14, 2022).

■ What Are Rearmed Heroes and Arcane Inheritance?

Rearmed Heroes are Heroes who, rather than following the normal rules for skill inheritance, can perform a single arcane inheritance.

With arcane inheritance, you can have a target Hero inherit a source Rearmed Hero's skills, as well as special News icon arcane weaponarcane weapon skills, and the Rearmed Hero will remain in your army with the rest of their skills intact.

Rearmed Heroes can be used in battle or merged even after they've already completed an arcane inheritance.

You can perform arcane inheritance once per Rearmed Hero. Regardless of the skills inherited, performing an arcane inheritance expends the ability to use arcane inheritance. (A Hero can inherit up to four skills using arcane inheritance, the same as a normal skill inheritance.)

Arcane inheritance use will be consumed even if only skills other than the arcane weapon skill are inherited.

It also counts as using the Rearmed Hero's arcane inheritance if you inherit skills from a Rearmed Hero that the Rearmed Hero inherited from another Hero. The Rearmed Hero will not disappear, but their arcane inheritance use will be lost.

Note: If you restore a Rearmed Hero's arcane inheritance use by merging them with another Rearmed Hero (see About Merging Rearmed Heroes below), the target Rearmed Hero can use arcane inheritance again to have another Hero inherit their skills.

You can see whether or not a Rearmed Hero has used their arcane inheritance by checking the icon on their profile screen.

The icon is different before and after performing an arcane inheritance.
(To the left is before using their arcane inheritance, to the right is after.)

Also, a mark will appear on the icon on the Inherit Skill screen and Create Combat Manual screen indicating whether or not a Hero has used their arcane inheritance.
(To the left is a Rearmed Hero who has not used their arcane inheritance, and to the right is a Rearmed Hero who has.)

Notes:
・ It will display "Lose" just like a normal skill inheritance when you perform an arcane inheritance, but the Rearmed Hero will not disappear.
・ You cannot use Rearmed Heroes in a normal skill inheritance. You will no longer be able to select a Rearmed Hero as the source ally once they have completed an arcane inheritance.
・ You cannot make a Rearmed Hero who has completed an arcane inheritance into a Combat Manual. You can make them into a Combat Manual if they have not completed an arcane inheritance, but if you do, they will disappear after being used in a skill inheritance once.
・ When you make a Hero who has inherited skills using arcane inheritance into a Combat Manual, the skills that were inherited from the Rearmed Hero using arcane inheritance will not be included in the Combat Manual, just like skills inherited through normal skill inheritance.

○ About Merging Rearmed Heroes

・ When the target ally in a merge is a Rearmed Hero who has used their arcane inheritance and the source ally is a Rearmed Hero who has not used their arcane inheritance...
The target ally's arcane inheritance status will still be available, and it can be used to perform an arcane inheritance.

・ When both the target ally and source ally are Rearmed Heroes who have not yet used their arcane inheritance...
The target ally can still only be able to perform a single arcane inheritance after the merge (a Rearmed Hero's available arcane inheritances will never stack above one).

・ When the target ally is a Rearmed Hero who has not yet used their arcane inheritance and the source ally has...
After the merge, the target ally's arcane inheritance will still be available.

・ When both the target ally and source ally are Rearmed Heroes who have used their arcane inheritance...
After the merge, the target ally's arcane inheritance will still used up, and none will be available.

■ About Arcane Weapon Skills

Rearmed Heroes have a weapon skill called an News icon arcane weaponarcane weapon.

Like other weapons, arcane weapon skills can be refined—and they can also be inherited by other Heroes by using arcane inheritance.

After Arcane Weapons Have Been Inherited

・ Only Rearmed Heroes can equip both their arcane weapon and an exclusive skill.
(Exclusive skills such as Gray Waves, which are counted as normal Sing or Dance skills are subject to this restriction, and cannot be equipped at the same time as an arcane weapon skill. Sing, Dance, and Play are the only exceptions to this and can be equipped at the same time.)

・ Arcane weapon skills that have been inherited cannot be inherited again by another Hero using skill inheritance.
Arcane weapon skills can be inherited by an ally only through a merge.

Miscellaneous Notes about Arcane Weapon Skills

・ Arcane weapon skills will appear as options in Hall of Forms only when the Forma include the Rearmed Hero whose arcane weapon skill it is.

・ Your summoner unit can also equip arcane weapon skills, even if the Rearmed Hero who originally had the arcane weapon skill is no longer your ally and the arcane weapon skill exists only as a skill inherited by another Hero.

■ Notes about Summoning Events

Rearmed Heroes will not appear in normal summoning events and will only appear in summoning events in which they are a focus Hero.

Rearmed Heroes will not appear in regular summoning events even after appearing in a New Heroes summoning event. They will, however, reappear as focus Heroes in future summoning events.
