Notes[ | ]
- When battling a Sword, Lance, or Axe unit, damage is boosted by 50%.
- When battling a Colorless bow unit, damage is boosted by 50%.
- When battling an Armored unit, damage is boosted by 50%.
- Dragonhide, Svalinn Shield, Dew Dragonstone, Maltet, Opposing Stones, and the Neutralize Effective Against Armored status effect will neutralize the attack increase against Armored units.
- "If foe initiates combat" means if a foe triggers combat during the enemy phase. The unit being initiated upon does not need to deal damage, nor be able to counterattack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit being initiated upon must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- Feather Sword does not grant the user the ability to counterattack regardless of foe's range.
- If the user can counterattack, either from using a weapon with the same range as the foe's weapon or from countering skills, the user's counterattack will occur before the foe's initial attack.
- Feather Sword changes the priority, or order of attacks, and therefore can be neutralized by effects such as Hardy Bearing 3 or Armorpin Dagger+.

+3 HP | Grants Atk+3. Effective against sword, lance, axe, colorless bow, and armored foes. If foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat and neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks. If foe initiates combat and is armored or uses sword, lance, axe, or colorless bow, or if unit's HP ≤ 90%, unit can counterattack before foe's first attack. Enables【Canto (2)】. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd = number of allies within 3 spaces × 3 (max 6), and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). |

(Unit moves according to movement type. Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. Only highest value applied. Does not stack. After moving, if a skill that grants another action would be triggered (like with Galeforce), Canto will trigger after the granted action. Unit's base movement has no effect on movement granted. Cannot warp (using skills like Wings of Mercy) a distance greater than unit would be able to move with normal Canto movement.) |

Notes[ | ]
- The stat increase that can be applied by refined Feather Sword is considered a temporary buff.
- refined Feather Sword will not neutralize the additional follow-up of 【Potent Follow X%】 or 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- Effects that are neutralized by refined Feather Sword:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed Follow-Ups, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
- 【Canto (2)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (2)】 has already been triggered that turn effects such as Forever Yours can re-enable it's usage.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (2)】 to 1 space for Range = 1 units and 0 spaces for Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (2)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (2)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (2)】.
- The movement granted by 【Canto (2)】 is unaffected by status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Gallop, Stall, and Gravity.
- The damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced by effects such as Share Spoils or Halves non-Special damage reduction.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
