- Has the same effect as
Renewal 2.
- When battling a
dragon unit or a unit with
Loptous, Attack is multiplied by 1.5.
Snow's Grace,
Sublime Surge,
Breath of Blight, and the
Dragon Shield status effect will neutralize the attack increase against dragon units.

- Falchion's extra attack is not a follow-up attack nor a change in attack priority.
- Breaker Passives and
Hardy Bearing 3 do not affect the extra attack.
- If Falchion's user performs a follow-up attack, either by a speed check or a skill such as
Brash Assault 3, users will land a total of 4 attacks during combat.
- A foe with skills such as
Null Follow-Up 3 will neutralize any of Falchion's user's skills that guarantee follow-up attacks.
- A foe with skills such as
- Breaker Passives and
- Any of the refinements grant the same effect as
Renewal 3.
- The effect is applied regardless if Falchion's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Falchion's effect will still activate.
- Falchion's user needs to survive the combat for the effect to activate.
- Falchion inflicts out of combat damage.
- Out of combat damage cannot reduce a unit's HP to 0.
- A foe equipped with
Embla's Ward or
Múspellflame will neutralize all sources of out of combat damage except Røkkr area-of-effect Specials.
- A foe equipped with
Røkkr will neutralize all sources of out of combat damage except area-of-effect Specials.
- Falchion stacks with healing from skills like
Mystic Boost 3.
- For example, if a unit has both Fury and Mystic Boost,
Fury 1 +
Mystic Boost 2 = +2 HP, and

- The first listed refined effect is a reference to a skill in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia known as "Double Lion", which allows the user to attack twice consecutively and is found on the
Royal Sword, one of Alm's preferred weapons.
