Emblems, Heroes/Céline: Joyous Royal


Céline	I trust you are well, `【Summoner】`. You seem to have strayed a bit from your usual patrol route... Do you need something of me? It pleases me that you make a special effort to visit, but there is no need to trouble yourself on my account. You are too kind to your allies, even as I can offer you more support... However, being made to feel like a Hero almost leads me to think I’ve become an Emblem. Where I’m from, Elyos, we have Emblems that are able to grant us special powers. Each bears the appearance of a hero, and with the Emblem’s ring, one can gain that hero’s power as their own. It is said that the Emblems are echoes of those who fought to save their homes in other worlds. Simply being in the presence of an Emblem is reassuring. I suspect you feel the same about the Heroes here. If you care to learn more about our Emblems, I would be more than glad to tell you all you wish to know. Might you be willing to join me for tea? I’d so love to share some with you—and to hear your tale as well. I wish to learn as much as I can about the summoner who gathered all these many powerful Heroes.


Céline	Of the 12 Emblems of Elyos, the one I am most familiar with is Emblem Celica. She was given to my country, the kingdom of Firene, and rests within the Ring of the Caring Princess. Before the Divine Dragon summoned her, none were able to see her, but... I was always able to hear a voice speaking to me from her ring. Thinking back on it now, Celica spoke to and comforted me since I was quite young. When my father passed, when my brother fell ill, and even when our castle fell under siege... Her voice was a constant through it all, and she helped me overcome the obstacles before me. But now... ... Oh, please, forgive me. I was lost in my thoughts for a moment. Emblem Celica and I have always been near to one another. Even when I was not yet able to see her. But here, now...she is far away, in another world entirely. And I know of no way to bring her to my side. ...Of course, that is not to say that I regret being summoned to Askr. It is my pleasure to aid you. With that in mind, it is best for me to continue looking forward, to what is to come. So then, won’t you tell me more of yourself, `【Summoner】`?


Céline	Hm. This was where I was told we would meet, but...I still do not see `【Summoner】`. I hope I’ve not made a mistake...

Céline	Thank you for all you’ve done for me, `【Summoner】`. Sharing tea and speaking with Celica was like something out of a dream. Emblems have no need of food or drink, so in Elyos, I could never have shared tea with Celica. Seeing her face as she drank one of my favorite teas brought me much joy. I’m feeling more at ease now. And I learned much from Celica. All that is thanks to you. I want you to know how much I appreciate what you’ve done for me. ...Might it be possible for you to arrange meetings with other Heroes to share tea with me? Heh heh... I would like to meet other Emblems in their true forms, and to learn from them as well. But I would most like to have tea with you, `【Summoner】`. I would like to hear your story, learn about your world. What your favorite foods are, how you train...everything! If you feel the same, we must make a plan for our tea time!
