Alfonse	The Emblems have no physical form, but rather appear as apparitions, of a sort, in response to an incantation. And then you engage with them, which is a kind of unification that allows you to fight together? I would be very curious to see that for myself.
I have to wonder why Askr doesn’t have Emblems like Elyos does. Of course, the Heroes you summon here are similar to the Emblems in lots of ways. But they arrive here in physical form, and they don’t dwell inside rings or engage with anyone. Your enemies can summon Heroes too, right? And turn them against you? That’s another similarity.		Alear
Alfonse	Yes, it is. If our enemies are able to summon Heroes, then the ones they call upon become our enemies.
Alfonse	Emblems and Heroes do have much in common, but the means by which they are summoned is different.
That’s true. Emblems dwell within their rings, and we summon them from there. We can’t just open up gates to other worlds and summon whoever we like. It really is an incredible power that 【Summoner】 has.		Alear

It is said that the Emblems are echoes of those who fought to save their homes in other worlds. Simply being in the presence of an Emblem is reassuring. I suspect you feel the same about the Heroes here. If you care to learn more about our Emblems, I would be more than glad to tell you all you wish to know. Might you be willing to join me for tea? Of the 12 Emblems of Elyos, the one I am most familiar with is Emblem Celica. She was given to my country, the kingdom of Firene, and rests within the Ring of the Caring Princess. Before the Divine Dragon summoned her, none were able to see her, but... I was always able to hear a voice speaking to me from her ring. Thinking back on it now, Celica spoke to and comforted me since I was quite young. When my father passed, when my brother fell ill, and even when our castle fell under siege... Her voice was a constant through it all, and she helped me overcome the obstacles before me. But now... ... Oh, please, forgive me. I was lost in my thoughts for a moment. Emblem Celica and I have always been near to one another. Even when I was not yet able to see her. But here, now...she is far away, in another world entirely. And I know of no way to bring her to my side. ...Of course, that is not to say that I regret being summoned to Askr. It is my pleasure to aid you. No, not at all. Just the regular sorts of spices you can find at any market would be fine.		Chloé

Absolutely. I actually prefer regular folk food—it’s absurd that so many nobles look down on it. Street cooks sell delicacies to rival anything you can find on a noble’s table. People line up for them!		Chloé

It’s essential for folk food to capture the feel, history, and culture of a specific place. If a dish fails to do that, there’s no point. Even if it tastes good, it’s got nothing to do with Askr. But honestly, I’m not even sure you have flavor going for you. This isn’t exactly making my mouth water. Please go back to the drawing board and try again.		Chloé
Anna	Clearly I misunderstood what was important here. Sorry about that. I respect your passion, though. You obviously have strong feelings about this sort of thing. All right, how about this. There’s a type of Askran snake that we catch slithering around the castle at times. Every once in a while somebody cooks one up to pad out the rations. It’s got a kind of delicate flavor.
Now we’re getting somewhere! That’s a true Askran ingredient. Let’s go find one right away. I want to accompany you on every step of this journey.		Chloé

Mmm... It’s so tender and juicy. Just the right mix of sweet and punchy, quite like the Heroes of Askr! Yes, this is exactly what I wanted. I’m willing to bet that people would line up for such a delicacy. The sauce would work really well with gecko too...		Chloé

Well, most of the appeal of folk food like this it that it’s cheap. If you charge too much, no one will buy. So, if you want to make a lot of money, you’ll have to sell hundreds of these a day.		Chloé
Anna	Hundreds?! That’s impossible! Think of the labor it’d take to source all the ingredients! Much less cook them! It’s not like I can ask the Heroes to devote all their spare time between battles to grilling snakes!
That would be fun though, wouldn’t it? And it would enhance the dish’s reputation too.		Chloé
