Description [Collapse] |
Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Enables【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 during turns 1 through 4. During turns 1 through 4, for allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, grants Atk/Spd+4, and also, if ally's attack can trigger ally's Special, grants Special cooldown count-1 to ally before their first attack during their combat. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = 5 + number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit × 3 (max 14), deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and also, when Special triggers, neutralizes foe's "reduces damage by X%" effects from foe's non-Special skills (excluding when dealing damage with an area-of-effect Special). |

(Max 5.) (Unit moves according to movement type. Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. Only highest value applied. Does not stack. After moving, if a skill that grants another action would be triggered (like with Galeforce), Canto will trigger after the granted action. Unit's base movement has no effect on movement granted. Cannot warp (using skills like Wings of Mercy) a distance greater than unit would be able to move with normal Canto movement.) |

Notes[ | ]
- 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 has already been triggered that turn effects such as Forever Yours can re-enable it's usage.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 to 1 space for Range = 1 units and 0 spaces for Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】.
- The calculation of "spaces from start position to end position" counts the total number of spaces from the initiator's starting position to the end position before combat.
- The calculation includes spaces occupied by an ally with the 【Pathfinder】 effect.
- The start position used in the calculation references the initiator's starting position after being moved by sources of unit movement such as Reposition.
- 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 also takes into account status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Gallop, Stall, and Gravity.
- 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 will have the distance value be reduced to 1 if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity and did not warp or move through a space occupied by a unit with 【Pathfinder】.
- The distance value for 【Canto (Dist. +2; Max 5)】 will not be affected if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity after combat.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Dvergr Wayfinder is considered a temporary buff.
- Dvergr Wayfinder's Special cooldown count reduction that occurs during combat is a flat -1 and is not affected by effects related to Special cooldown charge such as Guard, Special Cooldown Charge +1, and Spd/Def Tempo 4.
- All flat cooldown count increases and/or reductions during combat will stack with each other if they trigger at the same time.
- For example, if a unit with Special trigger acceleration has Rally Spectrum and Hush Spectrum, the effects will stack and the unit's cooldown count will not increase or decrease.
- All flat cooldown count increases and/or reductions during combat will stack with each other if they trigger at the same time.
- The temporary buffs and -1 special cooldown before ally's first attack effects of Dvergr Wayfinder will not apply to the user's allies if the user is inflicted with Time's Grip, the user's allies are inflicted with Feud, or the user's allies are in combat against a foe with skills such as Impenetrable Void and C Feud 3.
- The damage boosting effect of Dvergr Wayfinder ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The damage-reduction effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced by effects such as Share Spoils or Halves non-Special damage reduction.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- Dvergr Wayfinder will neutralize non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects from Specials such as Vital Astra.
- Dvergr Wayfinder will not neutralize Special "reduces damage by X%" effects such as Gust or Laguz Friend 4.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
