• Corrin's Japanese name is カムイ (Kamui, romanized as Kamui).
  • While Corrin is the name used in Western releases, it is odd for a character who was born in Hoshido to have a Western-sounding in a kingdom based on pre-modern Japan. His Japanese name, Kamui, appropriately fits his background.
• Corrin, as well as Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening are the first two Avatars (customizable characters) represented in Fire Emblem Heroes.
  • Corrin is the first Avatar to be the main protagonist in a Fire Emblem game and also the first non-human (actually dragon-human hybrid) in that role.
• In Fire Emblem Fates, male Corrin can marry any recruitable female character, with the exception of amiibo units, capturable units, and female Kana.
  • Mikoto is his birth mother.
  • He will always be the father of female Kana, regardless of who he marries. He can also be the potential father of Shigure.
