Notes[]

  • "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
    • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
  • The stat boost that can be applied during combat by Constant Dagger is considered a temporary buff.
  • Constant Dagger can prevent the foe from counterattacking.
  • Movement occurs only if both the unit and the target can enter the target spaces normally.
  • Constant Dagger triggers before Røkkr area-of-effect Specials.
  • The counterattack prevention and support partner swapping effects of Constant Dagger can trigger if the unit has their Ally Support partner deployed on the map.
  • If unit attacked means if the user attacked at any time during combat. They do not need to initiate combat, deal damage, or survive.
    • This means that if the foe initiates combat and the user cannot counterattack, the effect will not trigger.
  • The stat decrease that can be applied by Constant Dagger is considered a  Penalty.
    • Any 【Penalty】 effect on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have  Penalties for their first action.
      • If the unit also has  Grand Strategy, any  Penalties will remain active until the start of that unit's next phase.

Notes[]

  • The damage boosting effect of refined Constant Dagger ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Icon Skill Special Gust, Atk Spd Excel Atk/Spd Excel, and  Dodge.
  • The support partner swapping effects of refined Constant Dagger can trigger if the unit has their Ally Support partner deployed on the map.
  • The stat decrease that can be applied by Constant Dagger W Constant Dagger is considered a  Penalty.
    • Any 【Penalty】 effect on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have  Penalties for their first action.
      • If the unit also has  Grand Strategy, any  Penalties will remain active until the start of that unit's next phase.
  • Constant Dagger W Constant Dagger applies the  Discord status effect.

      • For example, if a unit is affected by both  Guard and  Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
      • If the effect is active, the unit will gain 2 charges from both attacking and being attacked.
    • If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge +X", only the higher of the two charge increases will apply.
      • This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge +1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge +1" effect is active.
    • Skills such as Tempo Echo Tempo Echo and Icon Class Green Axe Arcane Þrima will neutralize effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe.
    • Constant Dagger W Constant Dagger inflicts out of combat damage.
