(Unit moves according to movement type. Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. Only highest value applied. Does not stack. After moving, if a skill that grants another action would be triggered (like with Galeforce), Canto will trigger after the granted action. Unit's base movement has no effect on movement granted. Cannot warp (using skills like Wings of Mercy) a distance greater than unit would be able to move with normal Canto movement.) |
Notes[ | ]
- 【Canto (2)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (2)】 has already been triggered that turn effects such as Forever Yours can re-enable it's usage.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (2)】 to 1 space for Range = 1 units and 0 spaces for Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (2)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (2)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Pass effects, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (2)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (2)】.
- The movement granted by 【Canto (2)】 is unaffected by status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Gallop, Stall, and Gravity.
- When battling a Dragon unit or a unit with Loptous, damage is boosted by 50%.
- Breath of Blight, Eerie Scripture, Snow's Grace, Sublime Surge, and the Neutralize Effective Against Dragons status effect will neutralize the attack increase against Dragon units and units with Loptous.
- When battling a Beast unit, damage is boosted by 50%.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Blazing Polearms is considered a temporary buff.
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Blazing Polearms is considered a temporary debuff.
- The stat decreasing effect of Blazing Polearms will activate if the unit receives Bonuses.
- The stat decreasing effect will not be negated nor reduced if the unit receives Penalties.
- The stat decreasing effect will be negated if the unit is affected by Panic (and not affected by Null Panic), or the unit has their Bonuses removed by a source of positive status effect neutralization.
