Notes[ | ]

  • "If foe initiates combat" means if a foe triggers combat during the enemy phase. The unit being initiated upon does not need to deal damage, nor be able to counterattack.
    • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit being initiated upon must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
  • Blade of Shadow can neutralize Status Effect Penalty Penalties.
  • The stat decrease that can be applied by Blade of Shadow is considered a temporary debuff.

At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, when unit deals damage to foe, restores 7 HP to unit (triggers even if 0 damage is dealt).

  • Refined Blade of Shadow will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on foes from effects such as Heavy Blade 4 Heavy Blade 4, Status Effect Special Cooldown Charge 1 Special Cooldown Charge +1, or the Grand Conquests Icon Move Infantry Infantry area effect.
    • Since the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will be neutralized on foes, Refined Blade of Shadow will also stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect inflicted on the foe from effects such as Icon Class Red Sword Guard Sword+, Status Effect Guard Guard, or 【Divine Vein (Green)】, unless the foe is equipped with skills that neutralize the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect on unit.
  • Refined Blade of Shadow will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect on unit from effects such as Icon Class Red Sword Guard Sword+, Status Effect Guard Guard, or 【Divine Vein (Green)】.
