Binding Worlds is an event in which you head to other worlds that have been closed off by Embla, god of barriers and broken bonds, and fight using Heroes from other worlds to liberate the lands that await.
Aim to clear 29 stages while borrowing the power of Askr, god of connections and strong bonds, to swap the Heroes on the battlefield. Bring the bonds you share with your friends and other players to bear and free the worlds from Embla's grasp!
■ How to play
You can use stamina that is specific to this event to dispatch your forces to different Enclosures, worlds that have been closed off by Embla.
The first Heroes you can dispatch are the core members of the Order of Heroes, each at level 10, alongside Askr's retainer, Ash. Divine Askr Gates have been placed in the Enclosures, and when you end a Hero's action atop one, you can swap that Hero with a Hero from another world.
Heroes you swap in can take an action right away.
Note: If you turn on Auto-Battle, your Heroes will not swap with other Heroes when they end their action atop a gate. Be sure to play manually if you intend to swap with other Heroes.
When a Hero ends their action atop a gate, they may appear as a Hero you can swap for, but with their level slightly higher, and they can be swapped back into battle. If you select that Hero, they will be considered swapped and can take an action right away.
Notes:
・ If you have four of your own Heroes currently dispatched on the battlefield, your Hero will not appear as a candidate for swapping when your other three Heroes land on a gate.
・ If one of the four Heroes you have currently dispatched on the battlefield has a Sing or Dance skill equipped, Heroes with Sing or Dance equipped will not appear as candidates for swapping.
・ Heroes with the same name and epithet as one of the four Heroes you have dispatched will not appear as candidates for swapping.
・ There may be some situations in which a Hero who meets the conditions for being a candidate for swapping will be generated if an appropriate Hero is not found.
The following will be inherited by the Hero who swaps in when a swap occurs.
・ Bonuses
・ Penalties (Effects that end when an action ends will end when the Hero who swaps out finishes their action.)
・ Special cooldown (If the Hero who swaps out has a maximum Special cooldown that is higher than that of the Hero who swaps in, the maximum Special cooldown will be that of the Hero who swapped in.)
○ About Heroes' levels and stats
The level of the Heroes who are swapped will increase depending on a range of factors, including the stage that is being challenged and the stage clear status. Their level can grow beyond 40, with the highest level being 99. Heroes' merges and the number of Dragonflowers that have been bestowed upon them will be reflected in the following manner from their original stats, based on their level.
The number of times the Hero has been merged multiplied by their current level, then divided by 40 (with decimals dropped).
・ Level 40 and above
The number of Dragonflowers used on the Hero multiplied by their current level, then divided by 40 (with decimals dropped).
・ Level 40 and above
Note: The Hero's rarity does not vary with their level and is always based on the original Hero.
Your Binding Worlds-specific stamina, which is needed to dispatch your team, returns to its maximum value each day. You can also use a Binding Torch, which you obtain as a reward for clearing some of the stages, to restore your stamina.
Note: A Binding Torch can only be used while the event from which it was obtained is active. They do not carry over to the next time the event is held.
○ Other notes
・ You cannot obtain EXP, SP, or Hero Merit in Binding Worlds.
・ In Binding Worlds, Pair Up is nullified for all Heroes, including your own.
■ You can make Heroes you met your allies!
You can now make Heroes with whom you have swapped in Binding Worlds your allies as Forma!
You can use the Otherworld Bond item and make a Hero with whom you swapped your ally from the Recruit Forma screen.
The Hero will become your ally as a Forma when you consume an Otherworld Bond.
In Binding Worlds, you can make a Hero your ally any time from when the event begins to 30 days after it ends.
You can also send friend requests to the players who have dispatched the Heroes you met. The records of the Heroes you met reset with the start of the next event.
○ What is inherited from the original Hero
・ The skills the original Hero had equipped will be equipped as-is to the Hero when they become your ally. Also, they will have the skills they would ordinarily possess when summoned as a 5★ Hero. On top of that, the skills that the Hero in question can learn at 5★ will be available for the Forma to learn by consuming SP.
Example: When you make Leif: Prince of Leonster your ally as a Forma, he comes having learned Light Brand even if he has another weapon equipped.
Also, even if Leif: Prince of Leonster has not yet learned S Drink or has another B skill equipped, he has S Drink as a skill he can learn by consuming SP.
・ Traits will also be inherited as-is from the original Hero; however, Ascended Assets will not.
○ Things that are not impacted by the original Hero's status
・ All Heroes will join your barracks as level 40 5★ Heroes at all times.
・ They will join your barracks with the maximum amount of bonuses from Dragonflowers available at the time they join your barracks.
・ Merges are not inherited.
・ Ascended Assets are not inherited.
・ You will not receive a blessing even if you make a Legendary or Mythic Hero your ally.
・ Blessings, Sacred Seals, and accessories will not be equipped.
・ Resplendent Attire will not be inherited. Your settings for Resplendent Attire will be applied at all times.
Things to keep in mind when making a Hero your ally in Binding Worlds
・ You can only make one Hero your ally per event.
・ You can only make Heroes from Ver. 4.11.0 or earlier your allies.
・ You cannot make the following Heroes your allies.
Alfonse: Prince of Askr
Sharena: Princess of Askr
Anna: Commander
Your own Heroes
・ You cannot have other Heroes inherit skills from your Forma.
・ You cannot use the Forma as the source ally in a merge. (You can use a Hero as a source ally in a merge with a Forma.)
・ Two of the same Forma can be used in a merge. Also, Forma you made your ally from Hall of Forms and Binding Worlds can be used in a merge even if they joined your barracks from each of the different events.
・ You cannot convert Forma into Combat Manuals.
・ The status of the Forma that joins your barracks or appears in your Recruit Forma screen is based on the status of the Hero when you swapped with them, and changes made to their skills or traits by the original Hero's original owner after you swapped with them do not impact them, since the Hero is registered at the time the swap was performed.
You can see the name of the original owner of the Hero the Forma originated from in the Forma's detailed stats screen.
You can also set the player name to not display. If you want to set it to not display their name, turn Display Usernames with Forma Units off in the Settings menu.
Even if you set it to on, your friends or other players cannot see it.
■ Dispatching your allies
You can set the Hero you send to aid friends or other summoners by tapping Set Sent Proxy on the event's main page. Be sure to set the Heroes you've worked to power up so they can help your friends! There may be times when the Heroes you dispatch become other players' allies in the form of Forma.
Notes:
・ You can set a different Hero for both Binding Worlds and Allegiance Battles.
・ You cannot see if the Heroes you have dispatched have joined someone else's barracks as a Forma.
・ If you don't set a proxy, the unit in the leftmost position of Team 1 will be dispatched.
