Description | Grants Spd+3. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd+6 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Spd > foe's Spd, deals damage = 70% of difference between stats. (Maximum bonus of +7 damage.) At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, unit can move 1 extra space. (That turn only. Does not stack.) If unit transforms, grants Atk+2. |

Notes[ | ]
- The stat increase that can be applied by Bat Fang is considered a temporary buff.
- The maximum Spd difference that matters for Bat Fang's damage boosting effect is 10, due to Bat Fang's cap of 7 added damage.
- The minimum Spd difference that matters for Bat Fang's damage boosting effect is 2, which provides 1 added damage.
- With 【Phantom】 effects, Bat Fang will deal extra damage if the user would otherwise have equal or less Spd than the target.
- This effect stops when the user is regularly 9 Spd slower than the target, as a 1-Spd advantage rounds down to 0 damage.
- The damage boosting effect of Bat Fang is applied after other effects, and is thus not boosted by specials such as Glimmer or Astra.
- The damage boosting effect of Bat Fang ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- When equipped with skills such as Beast or Beast Passives, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether the transformation conditions of the user's weapon are met.
- Skills such as Beast or Beast Passives will also keep the unit from reverting from their Beast form.
- Bat Fang applies the Mobility increased status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Mobility increased is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Mobility increased does not stack with Gallop, only the highest movement boosting value will be applied.
- Gravity and Stall will negate the effects of Mobility increased.
- The Atk+2 granted by Bat Fang when the user transforms is considered a stat boost, not a 【Bonus】 effect.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the Mobility increased and stat boosting effects.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
