- When battling a
Magic unit, Attack is multiplied by 1.5. - The stat increase that can be applied by Aureola is considered a combat boost.
- Attacks that "calculate damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res" include attacks during combat and area-of-effect Specials.
- Close Ward, Mystic Boost 3, Divine Naga, Naga, Splashy Bucket, and Splashy Bucket+ will disable this effect.
- Light and Dark and Aureola will disable this effect during combat, but not against area-of-effect Specials.
- The effect is applied regardless if Aureola's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Aureola's effect will still activate.
- Aureola's user needs to survive the combat for the effect to activate.
- Aureola's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
- Aureola's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 3 or Flamelick Breath, or the user has been inflicted with Deep Wounds.
