Notes[ | ]

  • The damage boosting effect of Atrocity is not affected by the weapon-triangle, and includes the increased Atk from skills like Icon Class Blue Tome Blárblade+ in its calculations.
  • The damage boosting effect of Atrocity ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Skilliconspecial Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3 Dragon Wall 3, and Status Effect Dodge Dodge.
  • The effect is triggered regardless if Atrocity's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Atrocity's effect will still trigger.
  • Atrocity's user needs to survive the combat for the effect to trigger.
  • The stat decrease that can be applied by Atrocity is considered a Status Effect Penalty penalty.
    • Any 【Penalty】 on a unit, including Status Effect Penalty penalties, lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the penalty for their first action.
      • If the unit also has Status Effect Grand Strategy Grand Strategy, any Status Effect Penalty penalties will remain active until the start of that unit's next phase.
  • Atrocity triggers before after combat Specials such as Skilliconspecial Galeforce and Røkkr AoE Specials.
  • Cooldown count changes from skills that activate at the same time as Atrocity (after combat) are not considered in Atrocity's conditions. Skills such as Special Spiral 4 Special Spiral 4, Times Pulse 4 Time's Pulse 4, and Pulse Smoke 3 Pulse Smoke 3 will have their effects stack.
  • The stat decrease that can be applied by Atrocity II is considered a temporary debuff.
  • The damage-reduction is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Icon Class Blue Lance Arcane Lúin and Status Effect Dominance Dominance.
    • If a skill such as Skilliconspecial Miracle or Everliving Domain Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
    • Percentage-based damage-reduction effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Status Effect Triangle Adept Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
      • For example, if both Buffer 4 Buffer 4 and Skilliconspecial Godlike Reflexes activate, the maximum total damage-reduction is 70% instead of 90%, since the two skills reduce the damage to (1 − 50%) × (1 − 40%) = 30% of the original damage.

  • Atrocity II applies the Status Effect Guard Guard status effect.
    • Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the status effect for their first action.
    • The "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect.
      • For example, if a unit is affected by both Status Effect Guard Guard and Status Effect Special Cooldown Charge 1 Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
    • If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge -X", only the higher of the two charge reductions will apply.
      • This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge -1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge -1" effect is active.
    • Skills such as Spd Def Tempo 4 Spd/Def Tempo 4 and Icon Class Green Axe Whirling Grace will neutralize effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on its user.
