- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- "If foe initiates combat" means if a foe triggers combat during the enemy phase. The unit being initiated upon does not need to deal damage, nor be able to counterattack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit being initiated upon must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The calculation of "spaces from start position to end position" counts the total number of spaces from the initiator's starting position to the end position before combat.
- The calculation includes spaces occupied by an ally with the 【Pathfinder】 effect.
- The start position used in the calculation references the initiator's starting position after being moved by sources of unit movement such as
Reposition.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Atk/Def Clash is considered a temporary buff.
- Atk/Def Clash 4 can neutralize Penalties.
- Penalties are neutralized by granting temporary buffs of the same amount during combat.
- Temporary buffs from Atk/Def Clash 4 do not stack with temporary buffs from effects such as Grand Strategy and Atk/Spd Unity, only temporary buffs from Atk/Def Clash 4 will apply.
