Description	Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At the start of turn 1, grants Special cooldown count-1. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and after combat, grants Special cooldown count-1.

Has the same effect as Quickened Pulse.
Ascending Blade's cooldown count changing effect will not trigger if the unit is inflicted with False Start.
Cooldown count changes from skills that activate at the same time as Ascending Blade (at start of turn) are not considered in Ascending Blade's conditions.^[1] Skills such as Infantry Pulse 3, Tome of Reglay, and Odd Pulse Tie 3 will have their effects stack.
The stat increase that can be applied by Ascending Blade is considered a combat boost.
Effects that are disabled by Ascending Blade:
- Effects on a foe that guarantee their follow-up attacks, from skills such as Quick Riposte 3, Black Eagle Rule, status effects such as Guaranteed Follow-Ups, and the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects from skills on the user that prevent their follow-up attacks, from skills such as Windsweep 3 and Watersweep 3
- Effects from skills on a foe that prevent their follow-up attacks, from skills such as Steady Impact, Swordbreaker 3, Adult (Cavalry), and status effects such as Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
The effect is applied regardless if Ascending Blade's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Ascending Blade's effect will still activate.
Ascending Blade's user needs to survive the combat for the effect to activate.
