Correct. Usually, a person can only bear one Crest. But in rare cases, it is possible to bear two. I am one such case, and...there are side effects. I have been told that, because of my second Crest, I will not be able to live a long life.		Lysithea

That is what is commonly told. It is said that the 10 Elites received these Crests and passed them down through their bloodlines.
